Music plays an mportant role in the life of First Baptist Church. Music Minister Addrian Wilson serves as Sanctuary Choir Director and oversees the many music ministries and programs available at FBI. Here's an overview of some of the music ministry opportunities at our church.

Sanctuary Choir

Rehearsal - Wednesday 7:00 - 8:00 pm

The sanctuary choir is comprised of approximately 60 members, all of whom love singing His praises. Rehearsal takes place in the choir room.

Savior's Singing Seniors

Rehearsal - Monday 11:00 am

This choir is a ministry of First Baptist of Iva and is opened to all community members aged 50 years and older. Age exceptions can be made and no talent is required! Contact director Marlene Wiles for more information.

Champions for Jesus

Rehearsal - Sunday 6:00 pm

This choir is for children in grades 1-5. The purpose of this choir is to develop the children's musical talents for the glory of God. Rehearsal takes place in the choir room.

Primary Choir

Rehearsal - Sunday 6:30 pm

The Primary Choir is designed for preschool children. The emphasis is on teaching hand motions and songs that tell favorite stories of Jesus.

Faithful Heart

Faithful Heart is a five member ensemble that provides special music during services, at special events, and at community events. The group performs a variety of music from traditional to seasonal to contemporary, all with an emphasis on using music to tell the story of Jesus and in doing so to further His kingdom's work.
