Visit the FBIva Kidz Photo page! Learning opprotunities for FBI Kids are an important part of what takes place at our church. We want our children to be involved, to learn, to be involved, to grow, and above all to come to know Christ. Sunday School classes are available each Sunday morning at 10:00 and are available for children of all ages. Classes meet in our church day care center and are taught by those who truly love Christ AND kids! Missions Education is also important at First Baptist church of Iva and is available to children of all ages. Groups meet on Wednesday nights from 7:00 - 8:00 at which time children are taught about missionaries and the work they carry out. An emphasis is placed on local and community missions as children go out into the community to help meet the needs of those around us. The following missions groups are availabe to our children: Preschoolers - Mission Friends Elementary Girls - Girls in Action Elementary School Boys - Royal Ambassadors Preschool children are invited to attend Children's Church each Sunday morning and evening during the regular worship hour. Once children are dismissed from the adult service, they are let in a time of Bible story sharing geared towrard their own level of understanding. The focus is on Bible stories, songs,and activities designed to engage them in learning more about the love of Christ. Numerous opportunities are available for children to become involved in our music ministry. Our Children's Choir meets on Wednesday nghts from 6:00 - 7:00 pm for children in grades 1-6.
