First Baptist Church

Tim  Taylor is the organist at First Baptist of Iva. His duties as organist include  providing pre-service music, post-service music, and accompanying the choir and congregation during congregational singing. Tim also plays the piano for the Savior's Singing Seniors and for the Primary Choir. 

His pre-worship music usually consists in part of  the old hymns of which he is so fond. Tim describes these hymns as "rich and vibrant" and states that they are an inspiration to him. 

Tim studied piano and organ under the direction of Marion Wakefield, who served for 50 years as organist before retiring.
