| First Baptist Church of Iva has a heart for missions as can be seen by taking a look at the many missions opportunities available through the church. | |

Bulletin boards throughout the church emphasize missions needs, the prayer needs of missionaries, facts and figures about missions work, and more. |

Children's groups are taught about International Missions through Acteens, Girls in Action, and Royal Ambassadors groups, and adults focus on missions through their involvement with the Women's Missionary Union or Brotherhood. |

The church emphasizes International Missions during the month of December through the "Week of Prayer" and through "Missionary Moments," where missionary's successes, prayer concerns, and needs are shared as part of the worship services. Gifts to the Lottie Moon Christmas offering are sent to the International Mission Board, where they are dispersed according to the needs of overseas missionaries.
